Objective:
Objectives are 1) to develop and implement innovative and aspirational climate smart and advanced management practices to increase the efficiency, sustainability and resilience of irrigated and rainfed corn-soybean cropping systems and rainfed integrated pasture systems; 2) study the valuation of ecosystem services by consumers and producers as well as the incentives and barriers to adoption of technology by producers; and 3) contribute LTAR network research and communication efforts.

Approach:
Using established treatment sites for the Platte River – High Plains Aquifer (PR-HPA LTAR Sites) at University of Nebraska Eastern Nebraska Research, Extension and Education Center (ENREEC) and South-Central Agricultural Laboratory (SCAL), the sites include irrigated or rainfed croplands and pasture sites. These sites will be used to for objective 1 and in developing data visualization tools.
