Objective:
The Cooperator PI and other cooperator investigators will help ARS PI on white bark pine research project for Western SARE. Cooperator PI will primarily focus on the human dimensions and education objectives of the project (see proposal). Cooperator PI and associates will lead Research Objective 4 focusing on documenting local knowledge about ecological change in grazing allotments with white bark pine. They will also lead most of the Education Objectives for the project.

Approach:
The Cooperator PI and associates will conduct interviews and stakeholder groups to accomplish the research objectives they are leading. Cooperator PI will use results from all of the project research objectives to complete the education objectives for the project.
