Objective:
Cooperator and ARS PI will create educational resources that will be shared on GRIN-U.org. Content will include videos about crop diversity, genetics, and collections in the National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS), with special emphasis on tropical crops. In addition, ebook chapters will be developed to describe the fundamentals of plant genebanking as well as specific case examples of high impact plant accessions in the NPGS.
Approach:
Videos will be filmed in-house, edited, and publicly released. Ebook content will be developed by CSU, ARS, and their collaborators. Ebook chapters will be released using Pressbooks with accounts maintained at Colorado State University.
