Technical Abstract: A stand of cotton, var. DPL 5415, was established at UC Desert Res. & Ext. 25 Mar 98. Fourteen insecticide treatments & untreated control were replicated 4 times in randomized complete design. Insecticide treatments: Applaud 70 WP at 0.35 lb ai/a applied 7 & 21 Jul, Danitol 2.4 EC at 0.2 lb al/a + Orthene 90S at 0.5 lb ai/a applied 4 Aug, Applaud 70 WP at 0.35 lb ai/a + Phaser 3EC at 0.75 lb ai/a applied 7 & 21 Jul, Danitol 2.4 EC at 0. lb al/a + Orthene 90S at 0.5 lb ai/a applied 4 Aug, Applaud 70 WP at 0.35 lb ai/a + Decis 02. Helena Buffer PS at 23.6 ml/5 gal. & Sylgard 309 at 5.9 ml/5 gal. were used with all insecticide spray treatments.
