Using indirect immunofluorescence assay (IFA), three of four Mabs reacted with ALV-J, but not with subgroups A, B, C, D, or E of ALV. Interestingly, ,one of the four Mabs reacted with exogenous, but not with endogenous ALV. Western blot and immunoprecipitation tests showed that molecular weight of ALV-J glycoprotein recognized by Mabs was about 90 kDa. These monoclonal antibodies can be useful in the diagnosis of ALV-J. |
