Although both methods are efficient and facile, they both have inherent advantages and disadvantages that must be considered. Inasmuch as the composition of product hydroperoxydiene fatty acids are a mixture of regio- and stereo- isomers, a method is described for the complete analysis of product composition by combined straight-phase and chiral-phase high-performance liquid chromatography. |
