Technical Abstract: Soybean cyst nematode (SCN) is the most serious pest of soybean in Illinois and causes an estimated annual production loss of $20 million. The SCN section of the monograph is farmer friendly and emphasizes detection of the nematode scouting) and integrated pest management (IPM) with emphasis on crop rotation and planting of varieties resistant to SCN.
