This paper is that address. The paper presents a humorous look at scientific nomenclature and some of the rules and recommendations that govern its use. Technical Abstract: The formation and use of scientific nomenclature is governed by a document called The International Code of Zoological Nomenclature. A few of the rules and recommendations of the Code are reviewed in this paper, and a few humorous examples are spotlighted. |
