Both sexes of both flies are vicious blood feeders, and can reduce weight gains and milk production, and in some einstances transmit diseases. The purpose of the paper is to give interested parties more information about these pests and to provide suggestions for environmentally sound management techniques that can be incorporated into integrated pest management programs. |
