Interpretive Summary: Technical Abstract: A virus disease complex causing widespread stunting of snap bean plants and severe pod necrosis was reported in Wisconsin during the 2000 growing season. In 2001, the disease was reported in Michigan, Minnesota, New York and Wisconsin. The complex has been identified as consisting of different strains of alfalfa mosaic virus (AMV) belonging to the Family Bromoviridae, ,Genus Alfamovirus, and other unidentified virus(es). |
