Characterization and deployment of these resources into crop types is an enormous task considering the thousands of Beta accessions available. Molecular tools may help in the characterization of these resources. It is suggested that both molecular phenotyping as well as molecular genotyping will assist breeders deploy the most useful germplasm more efficiently. |
