Bos taurus 60mer oligonucleotide microarray. NIH Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) Database. Interpretive Summary: Technical Abstract: Bovine high-density long oligonucleotide microarrays were developed, tested and optimized. The bovine microarray with ~345,000 features (60mer oligonucleotides) representing 45,383 cattle unique sequences was designed and produced with Maskless Array Synthesizer technology. The 45,383 unique sequences include 40,808 Tentative Consensus sequences from the TIGR Bos taurus Gene Index (BTGI, release 11.0) plus 4,575 singletons from pooled mammary gland and gut tissues. The microarray is an ideal genomic tool for scientists to study global expression profiles or to analyze the transcriptomes in cattle. |
