Technical Abstract: In the last few years (2003-2005), Dr. Gillian Eggleston, a Lead Scientist at the Southern Regional Research Center of USDA-ARS in New Orleans, and factory co-researchers have worked on optimizing the application of dextranases in the Louisiana sugarcane factories. The recommendations gained from this work are stated in this short article.
