Technical Abstract: Genus Danielsia and its type species, Dn. albotaeniata, are described in detail. An extensive list of previous literature pertaining to the genus is provided. Species of Danielsia include Dn. albotaeniata, Dn. harperi and Dn. lepchana. Information on the distribution and bionomics of the genus is given.
