Yellow sticky card traps were deployed within citrus trees and on 3 meter poles scattered within the grove near trees and at various distances from the grove (up to 300 meters). Flush abundance was regularly monitored in the grove. At another location, large yellow sticky card traps were deployed in a large fallow area between two citrus groves and within trees in each grove, and flush was monitored. Captures of adult D. citri on traps indicated that the psyllid routinely moved to and from citrus. Details of these and other results of the study will be presented. |
