Land use planning and early warning systems for limiting drought impacts and promoting recovery [abstract]. A large body of literature and local knowledge has documented the importance of considering soil variability for land use planning, including how to plan for and respond to drought. A number of tools are now available and are being developed to assist with this process, including the Global Soil Map. |
