Interpretive Summary: The first step of EBIPM is to complete a rangeland health assessment. Once an assessment has been conducted, the EBIPM model offers a practical and effective framework for designing and applying restoration strategies, especially where invasive annual grasses are decimating productive rangeland. The Rangeland Health Assessment as a standalone in not designed to identify the cause of resource problems (Interpreting Indicators of Rangeland Health). In this guide we show how to categorize the assessment information bases on how it is related to the 3 important causes of succession and the ecological processes in disrepair.
