Technical Abstract: Outfield variety tests are conducted each year on grower farms that represent different regions and soils of the Louisiana sugarcane industry. These tests are carried out during the final three years of a 12 year Louisiana sugarcane variety development program and include recommended commercial varieties and experimental varieties designated for further testing. This report summarizes the yield performance of these varieties harvested from outfield variety tests during 2014.
