Interpretive Summary: In a collaboration with Louisiana State University entomologists, we assembled a partial genome sequence from the redbanded stink bug, Piezodorus guildinii from next-generation Illumina MiSeq sequencing runs. The sequence has been submitted and published under NCBI GenBank Accession Number JTEQ01000000. The BioProject and BioSample Accession numbers are PRJNA263369 and SAMN03099748. There are 1,932 assembled sequences and approximately 3.2 million nucleotides in the genome sequence contigs. USDA is an equal opportunity employer.
