ANSI/ASAE S422.1 DEC2015: Mapping symbols and nomenclature for erosion and sediment control plans for land disturbing activities-Forages.St.Joseph,MI:ASABE. Interpretive Summary: Technical Abstract: Erosion and sediment control plans are implemented across a broad range of land disturbing situations and intensities, and may differ depending on the needs and configurations, both spatial and temporal, of the individual situations. Maintaining consistency in definition, mapping symbol, and nomenclature key contributes to efficient project communication. Additionally, such standards support interaction across projects and effective consultation with experts. This ANSI Standard provides up-to-date mapping and nomenclature guidelines based on feedback from both the public and private sector. The standard was developed and revised by Committee NRES-244 "Sediment and Associated Pollutants" within the American Society of Agriculture and Biological Engineers (ASABE) Natural Resources and Environmental Systems Community.
