Interpretive Summary: Zucchini tigre mosaic virus (ZTMV) has recently been recognized as a distinct virus infecting cucurbits. This is the first report of ZTMV infection of cucurbits in the U.S. This has implications for crop production and disease management in the U.S.

Technical Abstract: Zucchini tigre mosaic virus (ZTMV) was identified infecting cucurbits in Florida in 2002 and again in 2015. This is the first report of ZTMV in the U.S. This report provides an overview of this emerging virus for growers, extension workers, crop consultants, and research and regulatory scientists.
