Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Piezodorus guildinii has recently reached elevated pest status of high value cash crops in North America. This pest, however, has been historically linked with soybeans in Central and South America, as well as other regions of the world. Chapter 8 is a comprehensive report of the biology, global distribution, insect/host plant associations, higher systematics, semiochemistry, and management of this pest. This report will be a cornerstone resource for future researchers investigating these, and related, aspects of P. guildinii.
