Interpretive Summary: Tarsonemid white tarsonemid mites include more than 38 genera, they are associated with crops, ornamental plants, forestry, insects (beetles, true bugs), fungi, bacteria and soil. This paper described a new species from the Amazon rain forest of Brazil. This study will be important to bbiologist, ecologist, plant protection officers, entomologists and Agriculture scientists.

Technical Abstract: A new species of Ceratotarsonemus is described from the Amazon rain forest of Brazil. Keys to the known species is included.
