Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Wild rice is a cultural and economic staple of the Anishinaabe People of White Earth. Changes in land use within the watershed may impact the water quality of ricing lakes on the reservation. The purpose of this discussion is to report the preliminary findings of water quality analysis of samples taken throughout the growing season for wild rice. This presentation is part of an ongoing USDA NIFA award at the White Earth Tribal and Community College.
