Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Revisiting the Technical Sections completed for the New Animal Drug Application (NADA) for potassium permanganate will be given and the status of sponsorship will be discussed. MUMS designations include: 1) For the control of mortality in freshwater-reared finfish due to columnaris disease associated with Flavobacterium columnare, 2) For the control of mortality in freshwater-reared salmonids due to bacterial gill disease associated with Flavobacterium branchophilum, and 3) For the control of mortality in freshwater-reared finfish due to columnaris disease associated with Flavobacterium psychrophilum.
