Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: In the United States, fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda) moves northward from southern Texas and southern Florida to infest the central and eastern sections of the country. These populations can be separated using genetic markers. With this information and meteorological data of wind speeds and directions, the migration of this pest has been modeled.
