Technical Abstract: Dr. Kendall DeJonge and Dr. Huihui Zhang are research scientists at the USDA-ARS Water Management and Systems Research Unit in Fort Collins, CO. Their research has a primary focus of maintaining agricultural productivity in the face of limited water resources. Much of their research is conducted at the Limited Irrigation Research Farm near Greeley, CO. In this talk, Dr. DeJonge will discuss the research farm, irrigation system, and how measurement of evapotranspiration plays a role in their research. Dr. Zhang will discuss how remote sensing technologies help with irrigation management.
