Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: A presentation will be made on sharing the author's international research experience from a developing country in her home country in southeast Asia to graduate school in the U.K. and US. Her research experience as research assistant, faculty and a government scientist in an international agency, state university and USDA, respectively will be shared to an audience of underrepresented undergraduate students at a local state university. The intent of the inaugural seminar series, Diverse Voices in STEM, is to introduce undergraduate students to the different facets of the STEM field and encourage them to further their studies.
