Technical Abstract: The phantasma scale, Fiorinia phantasma, recently invaded Florida in 2018 and was reported to be in three counties. Its distribution is increasing in Florida, as we recently found it in two additional counties increasing its Florida distribution to five counties in total (Broward, Martin, Miami-Dade, Port Saint Lucie, and Palm Beach). We published several peer-reviewed and outreach publications on its diagnostics, distribution, host plants and management in Florida. All of these publications are available at different platforms, so we decided to bring them together on one website. We collaborated with the University of Florida and built the phantasma scale website (https://mrec.ifas.ufl.edu/lsolab/scale/phantasma-scale). This website will make it easier to access all published information on the phantasma scale and benefit homeowners, landscape companies, nonprofessionals, nurseries etc. whoever are looking for information on the phantasma scale.
