Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: A ginning test was conducted to determine if fiber that was ginned on model-size (tabletop) saw and roller gin stands is the same quality as fiber that was ginned on full-size (commercial scale) saw and roller gin stands. The test included upland and Pima cultivars. The cotton was harvested by hand, and with picker and stripper machines. Both HVI and AFIS fiber quality results will be presented.
