Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: MycoCosm is an online database of annotated fungal genome sequences that is operated by the Department of Energy’s Joint Genome Institute (JGI). The database provides interactive web-based tools that promote analysis and dissemination of fungal genome sequences. In 2021, JGI’s Community Sequencing Program (CSP) approved a project proposal to generate chromosomal level genome sequence assemblies of 45 species of the fungal genus Fusarium. Once generated and annotated, the assemblies will be added to the MycoCosm website.
