Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: This publication describes 21 steps that help researchers and practitioners to develop and implement successful research and development projects together. The steps are organized in four groups: (1) initiating coproduction, (2) communicating with team members, (3) sharing products and progress outside of the team, and (4) evaluating the success of the project and (optionally) process. The guidance itself is a product of a coproduction project involving the USGS, BLM, USDA-ARS and USFWS.
