Technical Abstract: Trechnites insidiosus is the main parasitoid of pear psylla. This article provides an overview of its life cycle and how to monitor it. Growers are encouraged to use either sticky cards or cylinder traps, instead of beat tray sampling, to accurately monitor T. insidiosus adults.
