Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Neoleucinodes elegantalis (Guenée), the tomato fruitworm, was identified and observed feeding on tomato in Loma Bonita, Oaxaca, Mexico. The biology and damage caused by the larvae of the fruit is described. The number of fruits, fruits with larvae, number of total larvae, and percentage of infested fruits is documented.
