Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Validation of crop simulation model results by comparison against measurement data from real-world experiments is an essential component of the model development process. The software, developed for Microsoft Windows 3.1, accepts multiple-dimensioned discrete-point measurement data in a "Table" format analogous to that used in spreadsheets, with user-defined specifications of array size and column layout. A build-in Windows-based interface is provided for creating data files and for adding additional elements into the database. Selected data elements (or arrays) can be exported from the database into other applications. In its present form, the software contains several build-in data sets, including weekly soil water content at various depths, corn leaf nitrogen content as a function of time and position on the plant, etc. from field experiments at out location.
