Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Field trials of both commercial cultivars and advanced lines were grown under low desert conditions to compare yield and quality on the Paloma Ranch west of Gila Bend, AZ. The long range goal is to identify cultivars with both high yield and superior quality. It is hoped that the cultivars can be identified and brought to commercial release through this type of testing.
