They have also been implicated in the formation of cell vesicles. Although G proteins from mammals are the most studied, a few from plants have been described. This technical report describes a DNA that encodes a G protein found in soybean seeds. The information is directed toward specialists who are interested in these proteins, and it may be useful in helping delineate the function of these proteins. |
