It is pointed out that the authors' method of determining the intake family for a particular soil does not match the original intent. Examples are provided which show simulated advance and recession and advance and recession curves and the distribution of water resulting from various infiltration functions. These examples demonstrate why the time infiltrate 100 mm is a more appropriate index than the one developed by the authors. |
