Welcome to the Aquatic Animal Health Research Laboratory The Unit is made up of 12 scientists in 2 locations; Auburn and Chestertown. Mission Statement The Aquatic Animal Health Research Laboratory conducts research in the areas of bacteriology, parasitology, pathology, nutrition and immunology to solve problems in aquaculture that diminish productivity and quality of warm-water fish, primarily catfish, tilapia and hybrid striped bass.
