NSU University School "Lunch and Learn":  January 30, 2019

Research Scientist Dr. Ashley Goode and Biological Science Technician Eileen Pokorny discussed the differences between native and invasive species to the Upper School Students at the Nova Southeastern University School.

Students learned that native plants grow best because they evolve under local growing conditions over time, contributing to a region's ecological balance. They also learned that invasive plants can spread and cause damage to the environment.
