IPRL volunteered to help remove invasive plants for an Earth Day activity from Fern Forest Nature Center April 13, 2022. Most all of the plants were the invasive fern Tectaria incisa. After removing 72 large trash bags of the fern, Fern Forest requested for our help to plant some native ferns in July. We were joined with the Broward County Parks staff, Florida Native Plant Society volunteers and Broward County Master Gardener volunteers.
