Responsibilities

 

I am the Germplasm Resources Information Network (GRIN) specialist and supervise data management activities for the location. I work with curators, Crop Germplasm Committees, and cooperators to integrate data into GRIN and provide information to the genetic resources user community. I maintain and administer the Local Area Network and provide computer, security, and telecommunications support for the Unit. I am also the location webmaster, assess the computing needs of the Unit, and manage acquisition and disposal of IT equipment.
