S. Winter Routines
Abstract:
The winter routines include provision for snow & snowmelt and for frozen soil. A thermal energy balance is maintained to track the soil & any snowpack temperatures daily. Snowmelt is used to supplement rainfall and the depth to the upper most frozen soil layer is used to adjust the curve number and soil erodibility (K-factor) for potential sheet & rill erosion (RUSLE).
