The Plant-Microbe Interactions Research Unit studies the mechanims and effects of bacterial infections of agriculturally important plants. Our research spans many scales, running from moleculars and microbes all the way to transcontinental epidemics. At the moment, we have two projects.
In addition to plant-microbe interactions, there are several themes that unite these projects,
- Extensive use of modelling and computational analysis.
- Teams with diverse scientific backgrounds working together to solve problems of national significance.
