Dr. Charles Mullen and colleagues selected to receive the 2016 Energy & Fuels Award for Publication Excellence
A recent research paper by Dr. Charles Mullen and colleagues, (Mullen, C.A.; Boateng, A.A.; Goldberg, N.M. "Production of Deoxygenated Biomass Fast Pyrolysis Oils via Product Gas Recycling," Energy Fuels, 2013, 27 (7), pp 3867-3874), has been chosen as the 2016 awardee for the Energy & Fuels Joint Award for Publication Excellence. This award has been established in order to honor an outstanding article published in Energy & Fuels. The award includes an honorarium of $3000, plus reimbursed travel and lodging costs to attend the ACS national meeting on August 21-25, 2016 in Philadelphia, PA. The award symposium at the ACS national meeting will feature the award lecture, and will include 5 other guest speakers invited by Dr. Mullen to give talks during the award session.
