Mission:
The overall mission of the BHNRC is to define through research the role of food and its components in optimizing human health and reducing risk for chronic diseases in diverse populations. The Office of the Director fosters the planning, development, coordination, and oversight of all research activities conducted at the BHNRC and facilitates the communication and translation of the findings to help meet the goals of the BHNRC and its scientists.
