Dr. Tulsi P. Kharel joined the CPSRU as a Research Agronomist in December 2020. Dr. Kharel’s experience includes use of new technologies (yield monitor, remote sensing, spatial statistics and big data) in agronomic field trials and on-farm trials. Dr. Kharel’s research at CPSRU is focused on improving agronomic efficiency of soybean in the Mid-Southern United States. Dr. Kharel applies a diverse set of modern scientific methods and data layering to address research questions related to soybean production efficiency in the region.
