We are seeking people to participate in studies to improve our understanding of the health roles of foods and physical activity. Participants become essential partners in our research and are paid honoraria for their participation.
Our Center is unmatched in its capacities for conducting state-of-the-art nutritional analyses as part of our studies with human volunteers, and animal and cultured cell models.
We conduct state-of-art physiological evaluations of humans. This includes the ability to assess body composition, fitness status, responses to physical activity and energy metabolism.
Our 92,000 sq. ft. building contains state-of-the-art facilities for research with humans, animals, and cell culture as well as multiple chemical and biochemical laboratories.
We study the roles of foods, food factors, agricultural practices and physical activity on human health and maintenance of a healthy body weight.
The Grand Forks Human Nutrition Research Center is located in Grand Forks, ND and is part of the Plains Area.
