Objective:
The overall objective of this project is to complete laboratory work on samples from human nutrition studies conducted in the Immunity and Disease Prevention Research Unit at the Western Human Nutrition Center, including collaborative studies with university colleagues.
Approach:
Laboratory studies will be performed in Immunity and Disease Prevention Research Unit laboratory facilities at the Western Human Nutrition Research Center by a project scientist with the Nutrition Department, University of California, Davis. These laboratory studies will involve samples from human nutrition intervention trials examining the effect of diet on immune function and other related physiologic outcomes.
