Objective:
To test the potency of eBeam-killed-Salmonella vaccine in broiler chickens.

Approach:
Salmonella cultures for electron beam (eBeam) exposure will be prepared, then exposed to eBeam technology for inactivation. The eBeam-exposed Salmonella samples will then be used as a vaccine and test it potency in broiler chickens. USDA cooperator will develop the vaccine against Salmonella and the university of cooperator will test the potency of the vaccine in broiler chickens.
